Task Forces

One of the ways in which the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence supports local member programs is through sponsoring task forces that address the ways in which domestic violence impacts different communities and groups of people. Task Forces are made up of domestic violence advocates and community members who are interested in issues related to specific underserved populations. NJCEDV task forces address domestic violence and immigration, domestic violence in the LGBT community and domestic violence in people of color. Individuals working in the domestic violence movement at New Jersey member programs or through other agencies have the opportunity to meet and discuss ways in which domestic violence impacts underserved and marginalized populations.
