NJCEDV Recorded Webinars & Resources
NJCEDV hosts a webinar series on various topics related to domestic violence. If you are unable to watch one of our webinars live, see below for a brief description of each of the webinars hosted last year as well as for a listing of all webinar recordings.
Batterers and Custody Webinar
The webinar reviews the tactics that batterers often employ in custody battles, the challenges faced by victims of domestic violence in those cases, and what we as advocates can do to help fight the injustices.
Shelter Rules Webinar
The webinar examines the reason for shelter rules, which ones are really necessary and why, who benefits from the rules, and how shelters can move from a “rules” paradigm to one of “rights and responsibilities.”
