Assistant Executive Director

The YWCA is the lead agency providing comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence in Union County, including shelter, community residential programs, counseling/case management, workforce development, court advocacy, PALS program for children, a new Family Justice Center, and more.

The Assistant Executive Director carries the responsibility for the oversight and development of the direct service programs and staff of the YWCA Union County along with integration of program services and administration.  The AED will be dedicated to high-quality and client-centered service delivery, work closely with the Senior Management Team, and will supervise the major direct service programs of the YWCA (Residential, Community Support Services, and PALS) as well as Domestic Violence Liaisons.  The successful candidate will provide a critical linkage between client services and agency administration, in areas such as grant development, donor support, community outreach, agency operations and more.  Must have minimum 5 years supervisory experience, including documented work in domestic violence field.  Master’s Degree required; LCSW or LPC strongly preferred.
